I LOVE this shot that Simon took last June.
It’s of a grizzly boar that was walking up the side of Lake Butte overlook early morning in Yellowstone National Park. As you can see, we had just had a light dusting of snow.
The bear crossed on my side of the car. Simon took this shot, hand-held, at ISO one billion (exaggerated) from my rolled down window in the car. He HATES this shot. I mean it. Hates it. He went on an on about how technically imperfect it was, blah blah f/stop blah blah ISO, blah blah focus is off. Blah. He was about to delete it, but I forced him to save it for me.
So glad he did, because I was able to sell this puppy as holiday greeting cards. It was actually very successful:
So there, Simon.
