Every summer, the day that Simon and I set out for our photographic adventures in the wild, I declare a particular wild creature I want to see and photograph.
Summer 2012: I had seen several moose cows in previous years, but I never really saw calves. I declared that 2012 was my year to change this – it was the year of the moose calf. And a moose calf I did see.
It’s a Sign
Kootenay National Park, near Radium Hot Springs in British Columbia. This baby moose was hanging out at Kindersley Pass trailhead.
It was a sign! I am the luckiest person, as Simon pointed out in a previous post.
