More images from the summer…
Being a geography teacher, Jill loves her cloudscapes. Too bad some of the summer evenings were too full of mosquitos. Luckily, Simon toughed it out and captured this moment for Jill to enjoy from the safety and comfort of the car.
It’s fascinating watching mountain goats scale sheer rock cliffs. Especially kids. How are they able to pick up this skill right away?
Isn’t that quite the toothy smile from this grizzly yearling? Mom seems to be embracing a smile from the ‘Mona Lisa’ book of style.
And this photo of a beaver makes us quite proud. We spent days and days, sometimes without food, waiting for the beavers to repair the numerous leaks in their dam at Hinton’s Beaver Boardwalk. And when they got to work? They had massive holes fixed within an hour. The image not only symbolizes the resiliency, talent and motivation of the beaver family that lives in this sanctuary, but also the characteristics of the many wonderful people we were fortunate to meet while waiting on the boardwalk. Hinton is truly a wonderful place for beavers and people.
